We got the email late morning on February 27, 2008 (Jewel’s birthday) stating that USCIS had rejected the US Embassy’s letter requesting that USCIS revoke our initial approval for a visa that was issued to us by USCIS on January 31, 2008.  In a whirlwind of planning and packing, we had Claude out the door and on the way to the San Francisco airport 9 hours later!  The Carroll’s also got approval for Maddy to come home the same day.  Steve met Claude in Taiwan for their connection flight into Hanoi.  They arrive in Hanoi, took a taxi to the US Embassy and received Eden and Maddy’s visas within 2 hours of being there.  They ate dinner that night with the last NOID family stuck in Hanoi and then jetted down to HCMC on Saturday morning.   They went to Binh and Hop’s to pick up the girls.  Took pictures, gave presents and had a very tearful goodbye.  Then the Daddies flew home the next morning with the girls!  Upon going through immigration in San Francisco, Eden is now a US citizen!!!!  She arrived home forever on March 2, 2008!
